I spent years in Health Information Management within federal healthcare before becoming an entrepreneur. That environment doesn't tolerate sloppy systems — every process has to hold up under scrutiny. That's the discipline I carry into everything I build now.

My entrepreneurial training started with Boots to Business, the SBA's program under the Department of Defense's Transition Assistance Program, and continued through the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans (EBV) at the University of Missouri — a rigorous, hands-on program run nationally by Syracuse University's Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF). That training shaped how I think about building: disciplined, outcome-focused, no wasted motion.

One thing I've learned throughout my career is simple: complicated systems often create complicated problems. So I look for where effort is being spent without creating value, and build the simplest dependable path through it — whether that's inside a business, a process, or a bigger idea.

I serve businesses and customers of every background, but veteran-owned businesses come first. I know firsthand what that community brings to the table, and that it often doesn't have the same access to growth systems as bigger competitors. GroRank exists to close that gap first, before anyone else.
